A number of our church members are originally from Liberia, so when the recent violence was taking place in that country, we felt a very personal connection. Rebecca's son, Ebenezer Browne, is the pastor of Farah Community Church in Liberia, and we heard through her that there were many people in his church who were having a hard time feeding their families with the inflated food costs since the violence. We took some special collections for our Liberian brothers and sisters, and they sent us back pictures so that we could share in their joy.
